You did not tell me the make and model and whether you have a desktop PC like I have or a laptop like the rest of the world has and I loathe. Again FF, Op and IE are all A-OK in that department. Other problem I have on Chrome only is EONS drop down menus won't work when I roll the mouse over those six blue blocks at the top. OK I use 4 browsers Firefox 3.6.10, Opera 10.62 and the brand new still glitchy IE9 (Beta) and the mouse works just fine on all of them.

If you turn it upside down there is a steady red light so I guess it's an 'optical' mouse? One thing you have installed which I ditched as an addon years ago is WOT. My mouse came with it and it's a black HP. This all started back around 1900 hours ET (7 PM) and now it's half past midnight here in Pennsy and all of a sudden the mouse is back to normal! My ops system is Windows 7 and I run an HP Pavilion desktop PC. In either case the cursor whether arrow or letter was flashing and blinking rapidly on and off and disappearing altogether when I tried to click on an item on a menu. However, anywhere else on the screen it turns into a white arrow. In textboxes it turned into a black capital letter 'i' with the crosses at top and bottom the way normal folks write not the way programming geeks do. Can't really help much Rontro but my Chrome 6.0.472.63 (latest version) started making my mouse cursor jump around and trhen it started flickering on and off.
